Oaken

The first moment of your wedding.

For more than seventeen years, Oaken has designed weddings for families who notice everything. Our invitations carry that care to each guest, from the moment it opens.

Maison Estate gates

The collection

Five invitations, each with its own way of opening. Open them on your phone, exactly as your guests will.

Maison

Wrought-iron gates open onto a quiet country estate.

Maison treats your invitation like an arrival. Guests find themselves at the gates of a country estate, press a wine-red wax seal, and the two iron gates swing open on their hinges before a printed paper invitation settles into view. Everything after that reads like fine stationery: burgundy lettering, brass rules and plenty of quiet space.

Heirloom

A keepsake box lifts open on ivory silk.

Heirloom is built around a burgundy presentation box, rendered in real 3D. When guests open it, the lid lifts on a rear hinge, an ivory card floats up from the silk, and the view glides gently into the invitation itself. It is the design for couples who want the first moment to feel like being handed something precious.

Billet on a phone, before it opens

Billet

A little envelope, sealed by hand, opens on a love letter.

Billet takes its name from the billet-doux, the old French love letter. A small claret envelope waits with a gold seal. Guests lift the seal, the flap folds back and the letter rises out to become the invitation. Engraved capitals, a ticking countdown and colour swatches for the dress code make it feel personal and complete.

Aso on a phone, before it opens

Aso

Monumental names, a wax-sealed envelope and an aso-oke weave.

Aso means cloth in Yoruba, and this design is dressed in it. An envelope opens to reveal your names set at monumental scale in a single elegant typeface, stepped across the page like an editorial cover. A narrow band of aso-oke strip-weave runs along the hero and the footer. No photographs are needed: the typography and the cloth carry the whole invitation.

Portico

Ivory doors swing open onto a tropical garden.

Portico begins at a pair of ornamental ivory doors framed by burgundy florals. As guests step forward, both doors turn on their outer hinges, the light shifts across the panels and the garden beyond comes into view. The invitation that follows is arranged in arches: ceremony and reception cards, a romantic dress-code section and a five-step travel form.

Questions

Can the colours match our wedding?

Yes. Each design is shown in its original palette and can be adapted to your colours or aso-ebi.

Can we use our own wording?

Of course. Write your own, or begin with the wording ideas on each design’s page and we will refine them with you.

Do guests need to download anything?

No. The invitation opens in any phone or computer browser from a single link.

Where do the RSVPs go?

Each reply is sent to you as soon as a guest submits it, and a copy is kept so nothing is lost.

Can one invitation cover a traditional and a white wedding?

Yes. The order of the day can hold several events across one or more days, each with its own venue and time.

Can we keep the invitation private?

Yes. We can add a guest password so only the people you share it with can open it.
